OSPF and Wildcard Mask?
To configure OSPF on my Cisco router, with a network of 10..6.1.0 /24 the configurations would be :
network 10.6.1.0 0.0.0.255 area 0
But, would this work as well?
network 10.6.1.1 0.0.0.0 area 0

Adding networks to the OSPF process can be a little tricky. The wildcard mask used, as you describe, to tell OSPF which interfaces of the router are in a particular OSPF area.
A mask of 0.0.0.255 would include any interfaces with an IP address of 10.6.1.x. A mask of 0.0.0.0 would be the equivalent of a 255.255.255.255 or a 32-bit subnet mask, and include an exact match (as you correctly stated in your post as 10.6.1.1).
So, short answer is: yes... you got it right.
