i need ideas!?

there are a couple of obvious answers to the question

first - carpool

second - use green cars i.e. cars that don't use gasoline as fuel but use alternative fuel sources as in corn or some other renewable resource

also we can do what japan does and have the cars have mandatory miles per gallon of at least 50

a possible solution would be to have more work-at-home jobs, therefore less exhaust

first each and every car must have a properly functioning catalytic converter. then automobiles can have eco friendly fuel like gas, and not using the pollution hydrocarbons sources.then pooling can be practised as it is being done in london to reduce the number of vehicles running and prevent pollution. we can also develop technologies which make them run on electricy or batteries instead of fuels. people can also travel by foot for short distances rather than going on their vehicles
