How can I find out my neighbor's name?
I lived in an apartment complex a couple years ago and a neighbor's son broke into my place. I am attempting now to file a civil suit, but no one (not even the landlord) will give me the person's name on the lease . I know they still live there, but how can I get this information as I cannot file without a name?

hire a lawyer. They will process the legal papers to force the landlord to give the name. Often the landlord will tell you that yourself. They don't believe they can give out private information unless legally forced to do so.

Was there a police report of the crime? Go to your local law enforcement office and obtain a copy of the police report.
