counting number of pages printed with a HP CLJ 3700n?
I have HP CLJ 3700n printer installed on a server and many users has connection to it, how can i have a lot of number of pages printed by each user? is there any way to do that?
And also if I connet user directly to the printer is there anyway I can have a log of number of pages?
So my question is for both scenarios:
The conection through the server, and direct connections

Connectin via server SHOULD allow you to sety up an accounting system to monitor usage, but that's more a function of Windows server than the driver itself.
Direct connection to printer will only allow that IF the printer iself has accounting functions and from memory the 3700, being a small office/home office level machine is unlikely to feature this. large copier type machines, YES, small home office printers NO
Try having a nose at the www.hp.com support pages, they cover most things, might be worth a search

most hp printer have their own manger software, look in manual a few buttons presses on printer and you can get a daily report.

you may count sort it Manually :P OR seek for "headers and footers" selection on your printer print selection.. and verify the "web site No." selection this might print the web site no. on the footer of the each and every web site revealed in that consultation..
