how do I get my old yahoo mail back I hate the new one. It just gives the time something was sent not the dat

How do I get my old yahoo mail back. I didn't click on any thing to change it. I imagine Yahoo just went ahead and did it. It doesn't allign the emails correctly and when something is sent to me it just has the time not the date. I just hate it. Plus instead of the word Bulk it has spam. Hate it. I don't like change on my yahoo mail at all.

You can switch back to "Classic View" -

In the top right corner, click "Options" and at the bottom of the dropdown menu that appears, click "Switch to Classic View."

For the record, the new Yahoo Mail does give the date and time on all messages.

I tried the fix that was listed. Clic the gear, clic settings and clic Basic.

Well some of the old stuff came back but not all. And the format is still different. This is a business account and Yahoo does not seem to give a damn. I want my old E mail back in the style that was there back at the first of December. And tell yahoo to stop screwing with everything without telling us. I cannot burn all the time it takes to learn a totally new system. Some teenage techie makes a suggestion and a twenty something manager says "that s cool" without adequate testing and we all suffer. Bummer. I have five domains through yahoo. I think it is time to change to someone that knows how to treat customers.

How do I retrieve the "Attachments" and "Photos" folder from the classic Yahoo mail? I've had my account since 2003 and had hundreds of pictures, resumes, letters other attachments saved. I'm afraid I've lost 10 years worth of photos of family and friends now that the folder is no longer showing up.

Also opened a Flickr account to see if the photos were automatically saved there because of the upgrade. Nope! Any suggestions for getting them back?

And no, they weren't backed up anywhere else. I'd been relying on Yahoo for 10 years to keep those photos.

Why did they try and "fix" something that was never broken?

I do not have an "Options" in the top right hand corner. Because my web browser doesn't work well with the new Yahoo mail I can't see a lot of things I'm supposed to see -- like the attachment icon, the cc buttson, etc. Our firm won't let us change browers at this point and now I can't go back to the prior version of Yahoo mail. Any other ideas?

Get a No Cost Background Check Scan at https://bitly.im/aOqId

Its a sensible way to start. The site allows you to do a no cost scan simply to find out if any sort of data is in existence. A smaller analysis is done without cost. To get a detailed report its a modest payment.

You may not realize how many good reasons there are to try and find out more about the people around you. After all, whether you're talking about new friends, employees, doctors, caretakers for elderly family members, or even significant others, you, as a citizen, have a right to know whether the people you surround yourself with are who they say they are. This goes double in any situation that involves your children, which not only includes teachers and babysitters, but also scout masters, little league coaches and others. Bottom line, if you want to find out more about someone, you should perform a background check.

LATEST STUPID UPGRADE FROM YAHOO 03/JAN/2014

When I change to basic version, it refreshes and a sort of basic version appears, but it is not the same as the previous version of Yahoo Mail. When I close Yahoo mail and open it again I am back to the latest version which totally sucks. We didn't get any choice about upgrading to the latest version, Yahoo just forced it on us.

If I cannot revert back to the earlier version of Yahoo mail. I will close out my account that I have had for 15 years. I don't suppose any overpaid person from yahoo reads these messages, because they just collect their indecently high salaries and bonuses and care less about us, their loyal customers

I cannot stand this new yahoo mail thing. Nothing works out. The sent messages come through totally messed up with others. It is not clear anymore, which ones are sent and which ones are put on another one. The incoming messages are also slow in coming in. With the classic mail there was no problem. Now it is nothing but problems. Somehow or other they got me onto the French version of letters. And I can;t get rid of it. And I can't use the regular signs anymore, because I get the French letters coming up. Very very frustrating.

Add me to the list who HATES the new October 2013 Yahoo Mail. I can find no way to go back to Classic Mail. I cant even find old mail messages that used to be numbered in pages of 25 messages. None of my Yahoo friends like the new mail either.

Yahoo has made another "upgrade" I cannot scroll. I only see half of the screen and if I turn myphone sideways for a wider screen, it only uses half the screen. The delete option has been removed, we now have to file things in trash. I cannot get to my profile. I do not understand what is a new message vs old. I lose attachments. This thing runs like a dead horse. Does anyone do any user testing of this product before release? I want to go back to the 2008 version!
