Decay of marriage and family (values).
Parents who either aren't involved or would rather be their kids' friend, than disciplinarian.

I think the answer lies with the media either way you look at it. One could argue that there is far more peace in todays world then ever before(i have heard it is the safest time ever or soemthing along those lines). But do to the media and the easier acces to information(ie TV, National Radio, Internet) it just appears there is more than ever before (when really it is the same or better than before) just because you only hear the really violent stories(which are the only ones that make the news)(I hope you see what im saying). Its just the fact that 50 years ago you only heard information within your area whereas now you can hear small insignifigant things from other countrys. Or you could look at it that alot of the source is television giving kids idea(although i think you can say the kids that do this would have done other stupid things even without the ideas television gives them). Ultimatley you can blame parents becasue they taught there kids their values.

I think part of the problem is the emphasis on Rights and the disregard for responsibility that is taught in the public schools.
There is no problem teaching Children that they have rights, but there is a significant disconnect when this is done without teaching that responsibility accompanies those rights.
However this wouldn't be as significant an issue if parents would take up the slack. To be fair to teachers and schools education is primarily the parents responsibility. Public schools are simply a tool to help meet that responsibility.

Drug war is a big part of it. It was designed to remove the competition from the CIA drug runners and create a criminal class to justify the destruction of our freedoms. Also the youth see that they aren't going to get any work that pays decent enough to actually have a good life so they go into crime simply because they look like they have the money. and the biggest part of all is that the authority figures act violent and get shown on TV acting that way so kids figure that is the proper path.

B Quotes... The youth today place no value on human life.. So why would it be a big deal to kill a fellow human being.... And why wouldn't they act like animals placing no value on human life when we are teaching them that they evolved from monkeys ? Subconsciously this is embedding in their minds they were created with no purpose and are just the products of random chance... Or what about us murdering millions of unborn babies every year... Is that teaching them to value life ? Or what about all the violence and sex with programs about woman cheating on their husbands.. Is that teaching them about value ? I would say the reason for violence couldn't be more clear... The same people in government who are doing studies and organizing commissions to find out the why for the violence are the same ones who are legislating it....Hope that helped.....God bless you !

The truth is, it comes from the modern financial system. A couple of decades ago, capitalism was abandoned for the cultivation of protected, subsidized markets. Publically held companies abandoned long-term goals for the next quarter's closing stock price and resulting profit. Privately held companies renounced any responsibility for employees, treating them as disposable tools.
What does this have to do with the youth of today? Corporations also dumped any sense of social obligation, including to the commons. Now all corporations do is lobby Congress and legislatures for special treatment, subsidies, and protection from competition. They rig deals whereby they can collect government money (i.e. taxpayer money) with no obligation to provide any public benefit. Most pointedly, public facilities, such as parks, ball courts and swimming pools are stripped of funding, making them unusable. Some are even turned over to private interests for comnmercial develpment. Young people, especially in urban areas, have no publically supported activities or any places to conduct them. (At the same time, corporate fatcats extort tax money for privately-owned stadiums for millionaire sport teams, featuring unafordable tickets and unreachable skybox suites.) With nothing to do, as both city jobs and recreational activities dry up, youth will turn to their own devices, competing for territory using the only means they can control, violence. If there are no legal ways to make money, they will find illegal ways to make it, increasing the violence.
All of this is due to rampant corporatism and its corrosive effect on the culture and the legal system. Without the funds to prevent crime, more money will have to be spent on prisons, thus perpetuating the problem, as well as arousing isolation and insecurity in the non-imprisoned population, which corporations will gladly exploit. The cop that might have prevented a gang hit is busy answering a false alarm for an alarm company that sees nothing wrong with using taxpayer-funded public servants to test their systems quality for "free". Until big business is force to act like a member of the community and take responsibility for its own actions, society will continue to disintegrate toward barbarism. And it won't happen until paid corporate lobbying is illegal and legislators are forbidden from taking corporate money or favors.

The violence in the youth stems from them being taught that they have to die. Because the youth figure that they must die anyhow, why live just to take **** off people? Why not die trying to get rich? The truth of the matter is that no human being ever had to die. Death is the result of worshipping anything. Here is the Natural Law. " All forms of worship are devil worship and is forbidden by Nature. The result if you worship anything is death. Go to archangelmichael.biz and learn how to live forever. Movies, television, music, the internet, reading material, and video games.
In today’s world there is a fascination with sex and violence, and it is reflected in the entertainment industry, therefore parents need to caution their children. Unfortunately, many parents are too tired to organize entertainment for their children, so the youths often look to one another and the entertainment world to have a good time.

"We so much wide spread violence" does not make sense in this language.
Who should be at fault? Why do you assume someone has to be at fault? Those young people who are violent are angry. What they are angry at is all around you, and shouldn't be a mystery.

Let me start by saying.. it is probably an interaction of several things and varies slightly with the individual.
BUT...
PERSONALLY
I think it has a lot to do with people feeling more and more 'disconnected' with each other. I think as we get larger and more secular and/or more permissive.. we feel less connected to each other and more like "who cares if I ____"
I also think that the US is still repairing from the rapid changes in the 60s and the concept of "personal rights" Which again.. means less personal connections between each person.
SOMETIMES society is like a pendulum...which swings back and forth. Sometimes, in reaction to something.. we swing the OTHER way ... a little too far.
It can then take decades for society to right itself.. sometimes by swing back to the middle.. sometimes by swinging to the opposite extreme.
Maybe we are in one of those periods where the pendulum has swung to one extreme and we need to bring it back to the middle.
I dunno know.. just how I think.

Crime rates are actually mostly lower now than they were a few decades ago. The proper question is "Why are children better behaved today?"
Here are the stats:

Edit: So no one cares that the "youth of today" aren't particularly violent? I can't help but notice that I got 2 negative reviews so far...not sure why. Because I don't agree with the premise of the question?
