You could try contacting the answers team, I don't know if they will help, but give it a go.

You can't - that selection depends on the Answers team. Best of Answers is displayed publicly so that people new to the site get attracted to it. It is meant to be an advertisement for the site.

I stumble across many wonderful question in the Mathematics section, I star them and mark them for consideration. But they never make it. In fact, no question from that category does. Why? Because it wouldn't be too great an ad for the site, as the common user doesn't care about an interesting USAMO 2001 problem or its interesting solution.

Best of Answers is a collection of good questions and answers pertaining to the common person's everyday life (like spring cleaning, laptop maintenance), not just any interesting question.

Most of the Q&A in Best of Answers get many stars and thumbs-ups for BA only after they are put there.

It would be good if you can do that.

It seems that questions that make it to the best of questions and answers have an exceptional number of stars and thumbs up. So at the very least, you can star the question and hopefully you will attract a lot of attention to it and others will agree with you.
