Is the term abusive? I see it used so often here

I use Dell Inspiron N5110 with Windows 7. I find tap to click a bit annoying because I have to do a fair bit of typing and each time my hand so much as brushes against the touchpad, the cursor moves to where the pointer was and messes up the typing.

I've got Alps' driver installed. I tried many things, even went to C:\Program Files\DellTPad and tried opening APoint or DellTPad, neither would open.

Any ideas?

I use a laptop (Dell Inspiron P17F to be exact). I was browsing the internet yesterday when everything suddenly froze, then the screen went black. After a few seconds, I got an error message that went something like this: "Media test error - check cable. Operating System not found." I forced off the laptop and rebooted Windows. I thought it had worked when it booted as normal, but it had become slow as hell, took a minute to open a PDF and opening My Computer would lead to a couple of 'Not Responding' moments with Windows Explorer before I could enter D drive. I am convinced an OS reinstall is needed (although if you guys think something else can solve it, please tell me)

I have a Windows 7 re-install CD and a drivers CD that came along with the laptop. My hard disk has a C: drive (OS) and a D: drive (where I got all my anime, football vids, movies, manga and stuff). If I reboot from the CD and re-install the OS, will I lose only the program installations and data in C: drive (I can live with that), or will the D: drive be wiped clean as well? (I'll need to backup everything in that case) If D will be wiped out, is there any method of reinstall that will help me keep my movies and stuff? I'm flat broke and got no external HDD or other media to backup all 315 GB of stuff in the D: drive

I always run my laptop in power saver mode with the lowest screen brightness possible except when when I'm charging it (this is when I usually game, so I switch to Balanced mode with medium brightness). Is there any drawback to this kind of usage? If so, what's the best way?

I was a big fan of the game years ago, and want to play it and other old XBox games again, but my mom gave away my XBox to my cousin who's in some other part of the country when I turned 15 (so I could study without distraction LOL ). Now I have a lot of free time and I'm wondering if doing this is possible.

The season just gone by was the first time in a while when all the promoted teams stayed up, but when was the last time all the relegated teams came straight back in the following season?

I was talking to someone before entering the elevator and, as expected, signal disappeared and when it came back, I was suddenly able to hear a conversation between two other people! Why did that happen?

I'm looking for some good short manga to read. Like Ikigami, Liar Game (Roots of A), Suicide Circle, Law of Ueki Plus. Any suggestions? I prefer the mind-stimulating ones with good plots (like Kurosagi).

Basically, less than 90-100 chapters.

Based on this, which other good anime/manga would you suggest for me?

Has anyone ever influenced cup finals in one ground so much as Drogba has? Will anyone manage something like that in a career, let alone the 6 years it took Drogba?

Rurouni Kenshin was first aired as Samurai X in my country with the Sony English Dub, but the only ones I find available online now are the Media Masters dubbed versions (which sorta ruined things for me as I'd known the Sony dub first and still consider it superior).
