How does this sort of crosstalk happen?
I was talking to someone before entering the elevator and, as expected, signal disappeared and when it came back, I was suddenly able to hear a conversation between two other people! Why did that happen?

I've never had that happen but I don't use elevators much....At first I wasn't sure if you meant cellphones or just talking lol...If you did mean just talking I've heard about how you can be in the middle of a concert and not hear the music wile everyone around you (far in the back to on either side) can because of how the sound waves bounce around...That may also be how the signal is working with the cell phone and if you were hearing it just by listening to 2 people
