Far Cry is a pretty good single-player game for the computer.

I'm not completely sure if you were looking for online games or software. (This is a game you have to buy at the store.)

well, world of warcraft is THE most popular computer game in the world, so it must be fun.

depends on what kind of game you want to play

for first person shooter type:

call of duty 4

crysis

halo

for real time strategy:

star craft (real old)

world in conflict

command and conquer 3 tiberium wars

for role playing game, large RPGs:

GTA vice city, or gta san andreas (NOTE, rated mature)

diablo 2

for tycoon games:

rollercoaster tycoon 3

for simulation games:

the sims 2 or the sims

or sim city 4 deluxe

Lock on: modern air combat (aircraft action. complicated game)

those are decent games to buy with good singleplayer and good multiplayer but only singleplayer is also worth it.

The Sims is properly relaxing. It takes up particularly particularly some your workstation memory yet its rather good. additionally video games like Sonic and great Mario are good. however the Sims is my popular :D

StarCraft and the expansion set BroodWar which you can buy a pack together for only $20 its a good indepth wargame.

and if you decide you want to play on line you can and its free on line, the single player sanarios are great even if you dont play on line but if you have internet i would suggest playing on line.

The Sims series is an excellent computer game series so I would check that out! Enjoy! =]

Diablo 2, that it's still very popular after all these years is proof of how solid it was made.
