Has anyone actaully lost weight doing that?

eating only fruits or plain salads for a month or so?

    I guess a person might lose weight but I personally would also have lost the will to live :0) Anyway, it's just not necessary to do faddy stuff to lose weight. Why would anyone do that when they could eat all sorts of things and enjoy their food while losing weight. That's what I'm doing currently and it's working. Yay!

    Anyone's gonna lose weight eating only limited foods. My uncle lost 20 pounds eating nothing but ice cream. It's because your body isn't getting all the nutrients it needs, so it starts taking it from the rest of your body. Sure, it eats the fat, but it also eats everything else too. That guy who invented the Atkins diet, only eating meat, lost tons of weight, but died of liver failure. Just eat healthy, fresh foods that are low in fat and sugar, don't eat too much, and you'll be fine.

    i ate fruits and veggies and went to the gym like every day and was doing well, i also ate a piece of chicken for dinner for protein..once i started working again i stoped working out and got stuck!!

    yeah,lose lots of muscle..its silly...you need muscles to help your body stay away from gaining fat...

    most definatley but am sure he/she will be too sick to enjoy the new figure !
