How many due dates did u have?

Ok my last cycle was 2/2/08 which means I ovulated 2/16-2/20 giving me a LMP due date of Nov 8. I had a u/s today which I should be 18 weeks per LMP and they said I was 16w6d...I know when I go back in a few weeks it will change again. But has anyone had a whole lot of different due dates? My first scan at 10 weeks said Nov 14 now today the say Nov 19..

So do you trust you LMP or the U/S tech???

LMP only. They compare these babies sizes and NEVER take into account genetics. They have soon-to-be moms all hysterical thinking that they are going to be pregnant longer or there is something wrong with their babies when in fact the only thing wrong is that they are measuring and expecting these babies to be all the same size at the same time. You are the expert on your body, not the doctors.

I only had one due date, 2/2/08, although there were occasionally questions of whether or not she might actually have been further along than that. My baby was consistently weighing a bit larger than the due date would suggest, but was just a bit bigger than average! I would really trust the LMP over the U/S tech. Also, remember that the LMP due date gives you a large range. It could be two weeks on either side of that date!

I'm sorry they keep changing your date. My sister's was also changed half a dozen times and she was very frustrated. Congratulations on your baby and have a safe and happy pregnancy and delivery!

Well, I had two different dates, a week apart. Turned out I just had a huge baby, and he was measuring big. I gave birth the day before my LMP due date... the later date. My due dates were Nov 16 and Nov 23. He came Nov 22, 2006.

I'm 37 weeks & was given the due date of June 30 (LMP was Sept 23 & dates of conception were Sept 22 or Oct 13). When I went for the 1st ultrasound, they said it was more like July 5, but every time since then they've stuck with the June 30 day.

An ultrasound does not determine your due date after you get into the second trimester. Thats when the baby can grow at different rates and its hard to tell. Unless it is off by a month or two, your due date will remain the same. Your baby could be a small baby and measure less then how many weeks you are supposed to be, or it can be a big baby and can measure further along. I first started with a midwife and she gave the due date of Jan16th, then Jan 11th. I switched to an OBGYN and she gave me a due date of Jan 9th, then some nurse tried to tell me my due date was Jan 21. I ended up getting induced on December 28th. Technicall your righjt where your supposed to be. Remember they go by LMP, meaning you were not pregnant those two weeks before you ovulated and concieved. So those two weeks count towards how many weeks you are.

I know the date I conceived. However my doctor insists on going by the date of my last period which was supposedly conformed by the first ultrasound, which is inaccurate. The ultrasound tech flew through the procedure and just agreed with the date in my file. My cycles are extremely irregular and the date is wrong. I have explained this over and over to the doctors. My 20 week ultrasound confirmed my correct due date - however the doctor won't change the due date based on this. She feels the baby is just "measuring unusually large." Finally they have agree to give me another ultrasound at 38 weeks to see how big the baby is.

I had a due date of December 24. They changed it to December 19th. I ovulate earlier than normal in my cycle and no doctor would believe me that I was earlier than expected. However, the ultrasound proved me right and the 19th is what it is now. Who knows come my 20 week scan.

I trust the u/s tech. Because I thought I conceived on march 28th from charting. After my first scan it said I did indeed conceive on march 28th.

I've heard of alot of people vvith different due dates, i'd trust your last menstral period if you are pretty sure thats exactly vvhen it vvas. My friend had a due date of May 20 (based on her LMP) but then vvhen she had her ultrasound they told her the baby vvould be due May 31st, she ended up having him on May 18, so she actually had him closer to the first due date instead of the last one they gave her. Just trust your gut feeling, it could be that your baby is just small right novv.

I trust ME. When I was pregnant with my first, I knew he'd be early (long story) and was sure he'd come August 4....my first due day was October 18, and after ultrasounds, it got a bit closer (Aug 25, then Aug. 15). He tried to be stubborn, and was born on the 5th.

His brother had 3 due dates, and was earlier than all of them...and their sister was given around 5 different dates, and missed them too!
