What is the use of these things ???

I heard of a little girl suffering from cancer at first stage it was detected , but unfortunately her parents were not rich enough to afford the treatment & cure thier loving daughter .

My point is that what is the use of these technology & research when it can not help the needy , about 50% people can not afford these kind of advance technologies & anthore 50 % people almost don't need it !!

What do you say !?? do you agree with me or am i wrong at some point ?? but i can say that the technologies & invenations are not reaching 50% ( almost may be more than that )of the needy people !

Update:

really very upset that i didn't got a single answer !

There is no cure for cancer, until today...

In extreme primary stages cancer can be cured…

Even if you spend enormous amount of money… cancer would never be cured... However... With money you can prolong life of the patient, to some extent...

Otherwise, in general... you are right that the advanced technology, knowledge and infrastructure is accessible to limited patients who can spend money in big and private hospitals...

For example… price for angioplasty in private hospitals in Delhi is Rs 2,50.000/- whereas you will get the same treatment for 60 - 70 thousand in Nagpur... Even in Delhi the charges might be less in Govt aided hospitals like AIIMS and likes...

It is needed that a standard fee should be fixed for various treatments / surgeries… in all hospitals…

Private hospitals should be asked not to run their units as commercial shops…

A month back, a healthy looking, elderly man about 70... found that he had lungs cancer... they spent a lot of money in a leading hospital... yet, he passed away a couple of days back...

  • I understand your points.

I would love to see more money going to families such like the one you have mentioned....

Its is absolutely disgusting that a little girls has to suffer like this..all for the sake of money!!!
