How do you answer a question like this? I guess it is easy for people that have only had one breed. In my 65 years I have had many dogs of different breeds. They have all been the best dogs in the world. This ranges from my gentle giant, a Irish Wolfhound/Great Dane mix, to my Old English Sheepdog, a big clown, to the German Shepard, My protector.

Right now it is a Chi/Rat Terrier mix, my lap dog, a Beagle, my lovable sad sack, and two American Pit Bull Terriers, my love everyone pups.

Alaskan Malamute by far!!! Love the breed, they are very loyal and protective yet not mean very very intelligent. They are not a dog that barks all the time the usually wine when they want some thing. So really quite animal as well. You can teach these dogs any thing they learn so fast. They are also not a high matinees dog like some other breeds. These are just the beast in my opinion. I would have ten of these beautiful animals rather than any other breed.

<~~ We have two Pugs. A male and a little female - neutered and spayed. We did a lot of research on the Pug ... and we're so glad we decided on Pugs.

They are so fun to be around. Bred to be lap dogs, they are definitely true to their nature. They love to play play play and are natural born comedians. They know no stranger and are great with children. They are happiest with a house full of people and love to entertain. They live for your attention and are very affectionate and lovable. They love to go anywhere and everywhere … doesn’t matter where – whether it’s to the post office and back or to another city. They love to go on walks whether it’s all over the neighborhood or down to the corner and back. They love to greet everyone and are happy to see anyone. People always get a great big smile when they see our Pugs and can’t help but pet them. They shed like it’s going out of style but we love them to death and wouldn’t change a thing. We couldn’t imagine starting a day without them!!!

I would have to say that my favorite breed of dog is the Husky. I love wolves and I guess that owning a Husky or another wolf hybrid would the closest thing to actually owning a wolf.

Border collie. They are energetic, quirky and sooo smart, consequintly they keep me on my feet all the time. I'm a much better and more consistant trainer because of them. They blow my mind with what they learn and figure out all the time. I think I've got one problem or behavior down pat, but they turn around and throw something at me that perplexes and frustrated me to no end. Its a vicious cycle that I absolutely adore :]

  • Yorksire Terriors are my favorite breed. I love their fur. So soft, and I love the different shades of Brown. Plus they have good personalites, and are usually very smart.

I love Huskys because they are so beautiful and look very majestic. They also have their own mind, which I think is fascinating. I also love Labradors because they are extremely loving and faithful, and they really feel like part of the family.

The list goes on, I love dogs! But one of all all time favorites is a siberian husky-german shepherd mix. Theyre beautiful : http://www.thriftyfun.com/images/feedback_image.la...

Sorry, can't pick just one...but will narrow it down to the shorter haired, muscular build working dogs. Haven't had one yet that isn't intelligent, personable, loyal, LOVING, kind, spirited and have all stolen my heart.

I love all of them....Boxers, Pits, Dobies, Rotties, German Shepherds, Mastiffs (more to love).....great family dogs!

I have owned and met many types of dogs big and small in my life, including wolf hybrid rescues, labradors, chihuahuas, american eskimos, dachshunds, miniature pinschers, but by far my favorite is the doberman. Currently I own one (10 years old) and maybe I'm a bit biased, but he is very loyal, intelligent, and seems to be very sensitive to your moods. He is also very gentle to everything but cats (but can get along with them), obedient, and quirky.
