Zucchini Plants...somethings munching?

A few plants in my garden are getting munched on by some pest. I've heard something about dusting with Lime?? If that's the case should you discontinue using the Lime when the veg/fruit starts to appear? Thank you!

    Sevin dust is good. Don't let your pets get around it tho. Read the label. You can also buy Sevin in a spray bottle, ready to go.

    Dust with Sevin. I prefer to spray Sevin as a suspension in water.
