Craft or card ideas for a child to give a sick parent?
I have a three yr old kid at my work whos mom jus had major surgery. He is a big mommy;s boy, so I thought I would look for some ideas of things to make for her.

Walmart has a "craft" aisle with lots of projects appropriate for a 3 year old. One of my favorites is the picture frame. They can decorate it with foam stickers and then you can put a fun picture of the kid in it for the hospital room.
To get original artwork out of a kid I give them something fun to glue on paper, it gets their creativity going. (macaroni, feathers, sequins, foam beads, confetti, moss, leaves, hole punches, candy wrappers, anything will work then add to it with crayons or markers.)
