what does she do now?

okay this happened to me, but i called the vet.

they told me to go to the pharmacy and buy a bottle of the medicine called kaptin number 1

give it to her every half an hour for 2 hours.

then give it to her every 2 hours till u think its better.

get well sooon little pom :)

also the kaptin number 1 isnt a dog medicine its for kids, but its safe for the dogs :) my little pom is better now

Ah. I'd be very worried about the stimulants in an energy drink like that. Phone the vet, they will have an emergency number on their voicemail if they don't answer. The vet will likely give you instructions to induce vomiting in your dog if it was JUST drank, and may have you bring the dog in to be put on an IV and any medications that might help mitigate the effects. They will know if that amount of caffeine and guarana is toxic or not for a dog that size.

see if there's an emergency vet in her area. or at least a emergency number for her vet or another vet. check yellowpages.com and type in emergency vet and the area you live and see what you might come up with. other than that just keep a close eye on the dog.

Do you mean V8.. like the vegetable juice? As long as it does not have any onion or grape in it.. it should be fine.

I would be worried too... call Poison Control.. Caffeine is BAD for dogs.

give the dog milk! the milk will coat the stomache, and dilute the vodka. if the dog doesn't want to drink the milk, is acting fine, eventually he will fall aqsleep. but don't induce the sleep. and when the dog falls asllep normally, monitor it.

the dog should be fine dogs have a hi tolerance for things that would kill us
