Amen to that!! We not only need a REAL change (of course, NOT the empty meaning of 'change' that Obama's referring to), but level heads running the country! McCain/Powell '08 sounds like a great team to me! :D

Not bad, but he is over 70 also. McCain should wait till after the DNC convention and counter with the best pick. Very few people have the ability to deliver a state as VP. For example, Romney in Michigan and Crist in Florida could do so. I would prefer a different choice, but it is about swing states and the electoral college now.

Powell is not a native born U.S. citizen, and could not be president should McCain drop dead. That disqualifies him from being on either ticket. Besides that, he will be backing Senator Obama.

    No way.

Powell resigned due to Bush policies... and if McCain is adopting them, I don't see Powell getting in on it.

    Plus things to consider:

What are his stances on economics?

What are his stances on health care?

What are his stances on abortion?

What are his stances on gun control?

All are pivotal issues in Republican world. We really don't know much about Powell politically.

Impossible, unless he Powell goes against his wifes wishes, who he has said he will abide by them.

Plus, he was part of the 935 deceptions and lies that got us involved in this senseless war.

Bad choice, very, very bad choice.
