Re Peugeot 306?
My son owns a Peugeot 306 XS 1.6 petrol fuel injection, He drove through a puddle yesterday but gothome ok. Later he tried to start it, but it wouldnt start. We found the relays at the ecu wsas busted at the bottom exposing the electronics to the weather etc cos he has no front plastic arch protectors. We gtot 2 secondhand ones and were ignition lights were off they were now on, I think the fuel system was imobilised by the cars security. My sons m8 is a mechanic and told him that the system could be bypassed via a switch, and his m8 was an auto electrician, only prob is, this guy has gone on holiday so we r stuffed. I need a car badly to get to hospital on Tuesday as hospital is a few miles away a taxi would cost a fortune, and buses are out of the question as I am in a wheelchair.
Does anyone know how to bypass the system so my car will start. Cheers, Jimmy from Essex, disabled Scottish gentleman.

OK you say you got some more relays first of all are the pin numbers on the relays in the right spot. Because some 5 pin relays are pinned out different.
Next check the multiplug around the front panel this goes to the cooling fans but i have come ac cross these festered up and this has created back feed bringing the ignition lights on when in the off position.
The relay you replaced is a 15 pin one if so make sure the pin position is mapped correctly.
Next if this does not work try and post any more slight detail so we can help you more.
You say that the keypad had been diconnected try an reconnect the keypad . That is if you have the start code .
As this relay that i think you are saying also works the power latch cycle to send the code back to the keypad
Good luck

I do not know. But I have respect for the following people who often answer Peugeot questions here.
Perhaps an email DIRECTLY to them would help?

There are a few more, but 4 might be enough for now. Good Luck, sir.
