    Yes, it's called "Lactose Free".

The biggest culprit that raises your blood sugar is caffeine, whether, it has sugar in it or not. But even unsweetened iced tea with caffeine can raise your sugar significantly.

Milk sugar isn't bad in moderation...since it's a naturally occuring glucose, it isn't as harmful to your insulin levels as processed sugar would be. Having a glass or two a day of skim milk will benefit you greatly..trust me.

But I'm sure there are low-sugar milks out there, I just don't know how tasty they'd be! :P

Cream is lower in sugar, but pretty fattening. Try looking for an UNSWEETENED soya milk. I found one with only 3 carbs per cup. That's MUCH lower than regular milk. It takes some getting used to, but its a lot better than having all those unnecessary carbs.

Diabetes is usually treated through a combination of diet (low sugar), exercise and medications/insulin. Read here https://tr.im/WoLAv

Milder cases can be controlled with just diet an/or exercise while more severe cases require meds or insulin as well.

milk, cottage cheese, yogurts all cause me an enormous problem. I can eat candy or other highly refined sugars much easier than I can have a serving of the above milk products.

Ice cream and cream or half and half are ok, they have enough fat to slow down the glucose spike and slam effect of low fat milk and the other milk products.

each of us being truely individual will have different reactions to all foods. do your own testing to see if you get the high spike and slam I do, or you can get away with having this stuff.
