How many scientists waste their lives, simply because they never visited the R&S section of Yahoo!Answers?
Imagine you're a scientist, your name is Steven. You're part of "Project Steve" and you've dedicated all your working life to evolution. You've seen the evidence, the facts, and you've written books about it to educate students.
And after 37 years of hard work, you accidentally stumble upon the Religious Section of Yahoo!Answers. Then it hits you:
"OMG!! Like OMG!! But, but...OMG!! Indeed, there ARE still monkeys!! Why have I never thought of that??"
How much therapy will Steven need, simply because Yahoo!Answers wasn't around 37 years ago?

It's a crying shame, really. Just thinking of all the brilliance they are missing by not being exposed to R&S saddens my heart. Is there some way we can reach out to them? A life is a terrible thing to waste....

I blame it all on his education and up bringing, now if Steve had the kind of up bringing where his parents had taught him everything and taken him to the nice Creationist Museum he would not have wasted so many years in Education!
That is the problem with Studyitiuos! the chances of ever being completely cured is extremly rare!
I think more should be done to aid such people, in fact I think I will just pop into a few universities and point out the Evil error of their ways!

All scientists named Steve should come here to R&S to be enlightened about Intelligent Design and Intelligent Falling

Great point. The monkeys have not evolved and neither have humans. Steve has not dedicated his life to proving gravity? Steve has looked for "evidence, facts" in the fossil record? Steve has looked for "evidence, facts" in proven hoaxes? Steve has looked for "evidence, facts" as the complexity of cells has evolved over the last 37 years. Steve may indeed open his eyes to something as simple as monkeys being the same throughout all of the fossil record and have a eureka moment. But, probably not since Steve is getting paid based on his belief system. Steve is not just indoctrinated but a high priest, an indoctrinator. Evolution is his god that demands nothing and mere evidence and facts will never sway poor Steve. For the brainwasher is often the most brainwashed. Poor Steve. What a wasted life. What a death bed moment of deep regrets unless he stumbles upon YA.

I'd say about 1/2 of them?
I'm only guessing.
All scientist should visit this site. Even if just for the hell of it.
(Can you imagine the chaos that would ensue in the Real World?) LOL

Oh there is even more for Steve learn.
I learned that god proves his existence through the miracle of birth because, as one particularly brilliant person put it "how else would a sperm know that a baby needs eyes?"
You can't make this stuff up.

My name is Stephen, though with a "ph".
I'm a scientist, but never had a project named after me. I guess that's the consolation prize if you can't get a theory or a law.
Glad I read R&S, it changed my life...

Steve will end up on Valium And Prosac
I wish, some of the actual *all scientific fields* teachers of the lamb COULD see it.

I know, I know! Aren't scientists silly? They spend their whole lives studying, learning everything they possibly can about something, but not one of them ever thought to find out whether Luke Weiss III likes what they've found out. Because nothing that Luke Weiss III finds inconvenient can possibly be true!
Silly, silly scientists!
