Do I have to show up at my daughters 4th birthday party tomorrow that I planned?

I kind of have other plans.

WHAT KIND OF A MOTHER ARE YOU? SERIOUSLY. WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU. NOTHING SHOULD BE MORE IMPORTANT THAT YOUR OWN CHILD. I FEEL SO SORRY FOR YOUR DAUGHTER. POOR THING

BTW, I am available. When should I get there? And are you still averse to me using kids as subjects in drug toxicity studies?

Source(s): PS How are your bowels doing after all that coffee? I really want to know.
  • Nah. I'm assuming the conflicting plans are with your other family (the one you actually love) and you found a pinata big enough to hold a puppy and 14 bags of Hershey's miniatures...

I really was going somewhere with this but I'm still drunk from last night and the night before. I'm sorry.

  • So your daughter expects for you to both plan AND attend the party? Does she think you're Superwoman or something? It's better to set realistic expectations for her now, that way she won't be disappointed when Santa doesn't show up at Christmas.

Buy her a virtual puppy, she'll be too busy to care where you are after that. At least until she gets hungry. Just make sure to come back within 15 hours to feed her again.

I cannot believe you would ask this question. do you love your daughter so much to miss her birthday party because you have other plans?

Nah, she's only 4 she won't know the difference. Just make sure to distract her with a big cake before you split.

Ask yourself this question, if this was the last birthday that your daughter ever had, could you live guilt-free knowing that you could have attended it, and chose not to?

well, in fairness, you did do all the organising, and if you have other plans you can't exactly break them...

Just put a lifesize cardboard cutout of yourself at the party....she'll never know the difference ;)

    Heartless + selfish question

    Go ahead have fun

You've already done ALL the planning
