Juan Manuel Lopez TKO Daniel Ponce De Leon: I picked De Leon to win that fight and was VERY surprised to see Lopez stop him in the first round. Even though I picked De Leon to win, I thought that this match was a genuine tossup and I definately didn't think that it would end in the first round. Lopez proved to everybody that he is the real deal and I could see him giving anyone in the 122 pound division trouble, including the champion Israel Vazquez.
Paul Williams TKO Carlos Quintana: I picked Williams to win the rematch against Quintana, BUT I didn't think that he would stop him in the first round. I knew that the Paul Williams that we saw in the first fight was not the real Paul Williams that we saw beat Antonio Margarito. He was focused for this rematch and he brought his "A-game" and it certainly showed. He is one of the best welterweights in the world and I could see him beating or at least giving trouble to anyone in the division.
Kelly Pavlik TKO Gary Lockett- No surprises here. I, as well as everyone else picked Pavlik to blow Lockett away. Lockett never even deserved a shot at the title, but at least Pavlik did what he was supposed to do and thrashed Lockett easily. I really can't see anyone beating Pavlik right now at 160 pounds and maybe even 168.
Sergio Mora MD Vernon Forrest: This one surprised me the most. I thought Forrest would school Mora and just dominate the fight. Mora made Vernon look old and simply outworked him down the stretch to get the deserved decision. The thing that was the most surprising was that Mora had looked so bad in his past few fights- he drew with Elvin Ayala in a fight that many, including myself believed that he lost, and then he struggled like all hell against a journeyman boxer before the referee prematurely stopped the fight. Mora obviously took THIS fight seriously and came out with the win as well as a world title. Forrest on the other hand looked all of his 37 years of age and it might be time to hang up the gloves. If you look at his previous wins, you will notice that they came against older slow fighters such as, Michele Piccirillo and Carlos Baldomir- Mora showed that he can no longer deal with the younger, faster fighters like he could in his prime.

Wow indeed, Devon!!
Pavlik-Lockett fight was the only fight which had an outcome that lived up to its prediction.
Never would I have thought Mora would outpoint Forrest, which comes to show why we have these fights.
I had predicted Quintana to outpoint Williams again, with no big shock to me if Williams ended up outpointing Quintana in a close bout. Well, Williams did stir up a huge shock by defeating Quintana in the first round. I definitely didn't see anything remotely close to that happening.
Honestly, I didn't spend much time analysising the Ponce De Leon-Lopez fight prior to the actual match. So, I don't know what to make out of that fight.
These upsets and surprises are something that's great for the sport.

Pavlik vs Lockett was pretty much right on, I predicted round 5 or 6 destruction.
I predicted Mora over Forrest by Decision.
Lopez 's Ko of De Leon surprised me, I had it the other way around.
Williams Quintana wasn't a shock, but i picked Quintana to win the decision again.

i was shocked by mora beating forrest ,but maybe shouldnt have been so surprised due to forrests age but he had looked so good in his last couple fights and i never saw mora fight a whole fight which it looked like he was actually trying,he really put up a good effort against forrest and deserved it , paul williams surprised me ,i didnt think he had it in him ,makes you wonder why he couldnt do that the first time. wasnt surprised by the pavlik fight and i knew nothing about juan manuel lopez but i saw de leon a couple times and wasnt impressed by his style but he did have a big punch so i cant say much about that one.

The HBO fights were right on target-the 2 biggest upsets were the SHOWTIME fights. Who would have thought a contender fighter would beat Vernon Forrest and the biggest upset was that no punching powerless Paul Williams would knock out Carlos Quintana

guy you're on a roll 10/10 PROMO: See, I knew those 2 could not final as companions. they simply have been given fed up in dropping and dropping to us, that, finally, Shaun did a Stunner on tornado. i'm form of taken aback. i presumed he'd do it the subsequent time they lost to us. properly, wager i grew to become into incorrect, and out 5 dollars ***palms John 5 funds***. So, this is obtrusive we are the only cohesive tag group at here, and the only tag group that would win. So, I assume a protracted and wholesome call reign, it's going to be the longest EVER in YWCWH. BQ: candy thank you BQ: CM Punk, yet not cleanly. i think of Batista's going to cost Undertaker the call, or Punk gets himself disqualified.

Kelly Pavlik wants to fight Joe Calzaghe now. That should be a great match up.
