Do bottled waters vary in their "quenchability"?

I drink bottled water. I have a favorite brand (Crystal Geyser). Sometimes, I'll buy a 2nd favorite brand (Arrowhead) on sale, but it never seems to be completely satisfying as far as my thirst is concerned.

I want to know if this is possibly a real chemical difference (and if so, what?) or if it's all in my head. Please.

The only possible difference is the non-water content. Namely minerals, trace metals, chemicals, etc. These vary quite a bit, not only from brand to brand, but sometimes, bottle to bottle.

That can make a difference, but I have never really noticed anything significant.

No, it's all in your head. Unless there's a difference in bottle size. But seriously, stop buying bottled water. There's perfectly good water in your tap at home, which costs less, so use a reuseable water bottle. All the stuff in the bottles is just bottled tap water anyways. I guarantee it. If you think otherwise, email me.

Get a Brita faucet filter. Bottled water is just tap water run through an even cheaper filter.
