My 13 yr old daughters softball team has been using girls that are not on the team, What should I do?

I just found out that they are playing girls that are not supposed to be on the team. We had enough of our kids to play but he still had others play. Some of the actuall team players have been sitting out innings so these girls can play. They even told my daughter not to say one of the girls names out loud because they would get in trouble if people knew she was playing. I am very upset. I don,t want my daughter to think that it is o.k. and that winning is more important than fairness. I don't know how to handle the situation. My daughter says that she would rather not play for a cheating team but I don't think she should suffer because of her coaches bad choices. We are pulling her from the team but what else should I do?

All I can say is that you should go to the principal and tell them about what's going on, but make yourself anonymous. You can bring your daughter in with you to verify that it's been going on, but the principal doesn't have to include you guys in when he/she's talking to the coach about it.

That is probably the only thing you can do, but it's most definitely the right thing, and I know you know that as well. I would do it, because it's fair and it will also exemplify that fairness is more pure (for lack of a better word) than winning.

Report what is going on. No child should have to suffer through that sort of disappointment. Your daughter and the other girls worked hard. If you dont think its okay then its not and you need to voice your opinion.

Source(s): Played soccer for years was benched by someone who failed all their classes and shouldnt have played reported them and the coach to the school district

go to the coach and tell him to straighten this problem out or you will and if he doesn't go to the league why should your daughter have to suffer because this coach has a win at any cost attitude
