That could have been the difference in the game. If you are driving to the basket on most of your plays and are getting contact then you can complain about the refereeing. Look at the Celts series with the Cavs when Lebron got to the line frequently. It was because he was being aggressive instead of taking jump shots.

Well maybe if the Lakers were more aggressive, and stopped playing undisciplined basketball, then they'd be at the line more often and the Celtics would be at the line less...

Well if the Lakers were more agressive, maybe they would get to the line. Remember Boston is a very good defensive club

dont forget even with a jump start like that, they cant get too comfortable, lakers never gave up, and almost tied the game...
