Leftover Cous Cous?

What can I make with leftover cous cous? It doesn't seem to have much flavor on it's own. What can I add to it? The box has a cold salad recipe on it but cous cous strikes me as the sort of thing that would not be good cold.

It isn't bad cold if you add yummy ingredients such as corn kernels, scrambled egg and onion and maybe some BBQ sauce.

it is also nice if you fry an onion in some oil with chicken and then throw in some chopped veggies like carrot, celery, corn or frozen veggie mix then put in a tin of diced tomatoes and after this has simmered add the cous cous. Add salt and pepper to taste.

To make cous cous tastier on it's own add a chicken stock cube to the hot water before you pour it over the cous cous.

It is such a versatile food great hot and cold. I don't know how you initially made it but if you like salad try the recipe on the box. You can also add a drizzle of olive oil, chopped walnut and some powder sugar for a lovely Tunisian style. Many cuisines take advantage of the simplicity of couscous you can even search AllRecipes.com or RecipeZarr.com by ingredient for more recipe ideas. Good Luck!

Saute some shallots, garlic, shredded carrots, fresh baby spinach.... add some nuts and dried fruit. Hot with a touch of ground cumin & smoky paprika. Voila!

Curry it, wrap in pastry and bake. Brush with oil and bake with oven chips.
