Churches in Burlington, VT?

I have been attending a small Vineyard startup and am looking for a theologically/politically moderate yet mission and outreach minded church that someone in their late 20's would feel welcome in. I know Burlington, but have not had success finding churches that weren't Pentecostal/Baptist/ Generally Creepy/Extremely liberal. Any ideas?

Look, if you know Burlington and (I assume) live there, why don't you ask some people in the real world, rather than asking an entire worldwide community???

  • Have you tried your local Unitarian Universalist congregation? They believe that "each individual has a right and a reesponsibility to follow their own spiritual path". I attend one, and when I started going there, my Christian faith was accepted and never ridiculed or questioned. But it has allowed me to expand my horizons. I have learned more there than I ever did at the standard Christian churches I had attended my whole life.

There is one at 152 Pearl St. in Burlington. Call for meeting times: (802)862-5630. Go once, give it a chance, and let me know what you think!

    Blessings!
