I am leaving Peace Corps due to some personal mental health issues regarding the sudden onset of Anxiety-related problems. I cannot find a SINGLE thing in the peace corps documents on Google that talks about benefits under FECA for workers comp claims regarding Mental Health! I want to know if Peace Corps will pay for any sessions with a therapist around these issues when I am back in the US. I am technically choosing to "Medically Separate".

I applied for a Volunteer Grant Writer position, and while I understand that it's volunteer, I am wondering if this means that they expect you to have your own monetary support or only that the position simply pays a living stipend and not a salary.

Does anyone have experience?

So.. my brother had a great 35 minute phone interview with an organization that he would be more than happy to work for. That initial interview was in early February, and since then this organization seems to be giving him the run around. They wooed him at the interview and even had him fill out a full application, submit references, and even gave him info on their 401K and all benefits they had.

Since his initial interview:

-They have changed the due date for resume submissions 3 TIMES

-The person he thought was going to schedule an in person interview instead sent a girl to call him and do a very shoddy and hurried phone screen lasting 5 minutes.

-He called his contact there, and she said the position is STILL open and she does not know when they will have a decision, but " It should be in the next few weeks"

This seems very odd to me.. what do you think this means?

How's the commute from Chapel Hill into Greensboro by car? I have some job prospects in Greensboro but my friends are in Chapel Hill, and I would like to live there so I can be in close contact with them and the cultural activities available in the Chapel Hill area. I would be commuting in daily to Greensboro.

Specifically, one showing typical expenses like food, administrative costs, utils, etc.

I have been attending a small Vineyard startup and am looking for a theologically/politically moderate yet mission and outreach minded church that someone in their late 20's would feel welcome in. I know Burlington, but have not had success finding churches that weren't Pentecostal/Baptist/ Generally Creepy/Extremely liberal. Any ideas?

I have a BA in English but I am fluent in foreign languages and have spent a year living and working in Kenya. I have strong writing skills and other skills, but keep finding that places want someone with a MA. Is there any way to get around this?

I would like to know more about an organization that I have put an application in with. I plan to call them and say that since I have an application in with them, I would like to get a tour of the facility to get a better feel for the organization. Is this a good idea?
