I don't have a religion, and my own salvation lies within how I live my life. I can resolve myself.

Is eternal life the only reason for you being a Christian?

Most Deists believe in an afterlife, usually attained by being good. Personally (as a Deist), I don't believe there is anything after we are gone.

In Islam, we believe that in order to get to heaven we must believe in God and his prophets ( may peace and blessings be upon them): Muhammad, Jesus, Moses, Abraham, Noah, Adam...etc

But that's not enough, in order to be saved you should do good deeds and repent for your sins and practice your faith.

Yeah, I think you'd get bored after, say, 250.000 years. If not then, how about 1.000.000 years? 5 billion years?

One of the many questions that we ask ourselves is "where did I come from"? God created the world, and that includes you. At first everything was good, exactly as God made it. But now we all make wrong choices as sinners and commit wrong actions. We live in God's World but go our own way. We fail to live up to God's standards, and so we're guilty. The Bible calls this "sin". Our sin separates us from God.

John 3: 19... 'And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil."

We all want to feel good about ourselves, but we only experience true meaning when we connect with our Creator. People try to find their way to God in many ways, but these efforts all fail. Our sins are a barrier between God and us.

Why are we here? Because God loves us so very much and He wants Man-Kind to love Him back. You're here because of His love and desire to have a personal relationship with you. What you can't do through your own efforts, God the Son, Jesus, did by coming to Earth to die on the cross for you. He took the punishment for your sin, and so Jesus became the way between God the Father and you.

The wrong way to God is Disobedience, Religion, Morality, Self-improvement, Philosophy, and trying to work your way into heaven with good deeds. In John 14: 6..."I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

The only way to God from sinful man is through Jesus Christ.

John 3: 16..."For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

And God proved that He accepted Jesus' death as the way to life by raising Jesus from the dead. Regardless of what the critics and na sayers believe. So Jesus Christ is the only way for us to reach the Father.

So you ask yourself, Where am I going, when I die?...Jesus invites us, but also warns us, too: John 3: 36..."He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life; but the wrath of God abideth on him."

If you don't find your way to God through Jesus, you will never know God personally and your life will have no lasting value. When you die you'll be separated from God forever. The Bible calls this hell.

But if you accept Jesus as your Savior, you will have a personal relationship with God and live with Him forever. The Bible calls this heaven.

Jesus said in John 5: 24..."Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life."

The Bible tells us the choice is this, Lost without Christ is hell, Saved by Christ is heaven. The choice is simple to make, and it is everyone's decision, and theirs alone to make.

How to is this simple, 1. Admit that you are a sinner and turn away from sin...John 8: 11..."She said, No man, Lord, And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more. 2. Believe (have faith) that when Jesus died on the cross, He took the punishment for all your sin and He rose to life again to conquer death...John 1: 29..."The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world." 3. Receive (ask) Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. John 1: 12..."But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name."

Pretty simple, for a free gift to all Man-Kind wouldn't you think?

If you have never eccepted Christ as you Savior, that Free Gift with the only qualification is to Believe! Here is a prayer that we often use. It does not have to be exact, for it is a suggested prayer only, and to repent means (a change of Heart). "Lord Jesus, thank You for showing me how much I need You, Thank You for dying on the cross for me. Please forgive all my failures and the sins of my past. Make me clean and help me start fresh with You. I now receive You into my life as my Lord and Savior. Help me to love and serve You with all my heart, and help me to love all mankind and to be that light in the darkness, that they may see the difference and change you have made in me. Amen.

The precious quote here is when Jesus said in John 6: 37..."All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out."

God said in Hosea 4: 6..."My people are destroyed for lack of knmowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest ot me: seeing thou hast forgtten the lawof thy God, I will also forget thy children." I ask this question to the mother's and the father's, if you love your children, Then why wouldn't you want the best for them through the love of God's promises, for your children.
