I've been invited to Justin Timberlake's funeral next week. Should I go?

"… it all started out as an April Fool’s joke.. I have a friend in California who is a huge Justin Timberlake and Tito Ortiz fan. Every year I tell her that one of them has died. This year, I bumped it up another notch by creating a fake blog post and youtube video for both of them.

Then, I decided to kill off my buddy/coworker Zane Fielding as well…. eventually, I linked the Timberlake and Fielding stories together killing them both in a plane crash. Yes, I know, I am a horrible person for concocting such a hoax.. However, it was at first meant only to be seen by my friend April.

I started noticing a huge amount of web hits as a result of the youtube videos. So, in order to get shameless plugs to my other YouTube cover songs, I decided to include the music to one of my cover songs in the background of the videos, as well as display links to my sites.

Late last week and this weekend I deleted and reposted all the links several times as I was battling with the idea of bad karma…..

picture<br /> of a pumpkinThen…. this morning, my buddy emails me up and tells me that Robin Quivers from the Howard Stern show was talking about how she believed Justin Timberlake was dead because someone had emailed her my story! Keep in mind, the Howard Stern Show is the ONLY thing I listen to on the radio. This was unbelievable news.
