Nice poem
regardless if you wrote it or your friend.
The last line talks about not being there
it could be an image as someone has passed on.
There is afew adjustments not too bad
but
The line that says
and maybe our lives may also be compatable
(And maybe our lives would still be compatable)
or
(and our lives maybe compatable also )
Otherwise this is beautiful

It's thought-provoking, that's for sure. I saw a lot of interesting images while I was reading, trying to figure out what it could be. Tell you friend it's very creative.

I really like the concept, but it didn't quite flow well. I also quite like the I am simply not there part.
