How much oil left (that can be drilled before collapse). they talk like we got plenty.?
example:housing rebound 3 yrs. Plugin hybrid available in 2.5 years.
How in the world are we going to last that long? people are already leaving their cars on the side of the road. Giving up on meat for C. sake.They say the oilbubble will burst, and yet no one talks about where gas prices will level off. It seems that no expert has a clue.
Or do they. Help me out. show me uplifting statistics,location of new oil fields that can produce within a year. alternative energy CAN supply the USA/India/China. Something. I feel that EVERYONE "gov,stockmarket,the media"is skirting what is on the other side of the wall on this oil spigot. Is there anything there left?

I read "Mega Trends 2000" back in 1988. It stated at that time, that there are only about 50 years worth of fossil fuels left on the planet.
I assume that whomever controls the oil when we are close to running out will control the war machine, the financial markets and thus the world.
I believe that all the shortages and other problems that plague us, all over the planet, are caused by over population. There are just not enough resources to go around to all of the bulging and ever growing world population.
