MPEG with ROCKBOX ipod?

Ok. so im trying to get a movie onto my ipod with rockbox and it says that it needs to be an MPEG file. (or mpg, etc.) the only things i have found convert to MP4 or AVI or something which it can't be. can u help pleaseeee? or another way?

    try videora on pc or isquint on mac to convert video files to mpeg.
