I don't think that the priest will marry them unless they are both Christian. If a Christian marries a Jewish person, he probably does that at the court house, not at the church.
I didn't think that a Muslim woman could marry anyone who will not convert to Islam first. What will her family do?

I'm a Christian, and will be marrying a non-Christian. We've been together a long time. We support each other's right to pursue independent thought and actions, and our spirituality is included in that. As for your friend, if he chooses to marry this Muslim, then that's his own business.

Why can't he?
Christians can marry anyone they wish. The only issue would be how the children would be raised. The priest would marry them, but would want the parents to pledge (in writting) that they would raise the children Christian.
The same would probably be true for an Islamic wedding but it would be raising the kids Islamic.

The fact that you even ask that question tells me you are either in the wrong religion or you do not practice the true religion. So, go ahead and marry. There is no consequence for a Ba'al worshipper to mix with Marduk worshippers. Wait!!! They were both Babylonian gods I think, so it doesn't matter. Go for it. and please for the sake of the kids, don't have any.

He could in this country and I believe anyone can be in love with someone as long as all they see is that person and not pull others and what they care about into the mix. Her family I don't think would be accepting of this although I don't know the family.

They do occasionally. Traditionally, Muslims
tend to fight the idea, but it happens. Here in Israel there are several cases of Muslims with Christians and Jews.

Some do but it is going to be complicated if customs, cultures, moral values, rituals and among other things are in conflict with each other. Best have similar beliefs and practises..for even with that many can still struggle with other characteristic differences.

I think Muslim men can marry non-Muslim women but Muslim women can't marry a non-Muslim man and be accepted in the religion and her family.
Her family would require him to convert to Islam before they approve.

Well perhaps He can get her to convert as a condition of marriage. Otherwise, he needs to find another lady.

Muslim women can only marry Muslim men, where as Muslim men can marry either Jew, Christian or Muslim.
