Will Odom be moved in the off season if he doesn't step up in this series?

Update:

I love odoms skill set he just doesn't show up enough and its been like that his entire career.

Update 2:

marion would be a better fit because he plays big and has great quickness in the open floor and he is a much better defender then odom.........what about smith from atlanta he wants a max deal and the hawks new owner is cheap.

I think he could've been history once they got Gasol if Bynum and Ariza hadn't been out for long periods of time. Odom is a magnificent talent, but his outside shooting has not improved and he doesn't seem to have a high basketball IQ. he runs over a guy for a charge and a few possessions later, he does the same exact thing and then shakes his head like it's the refs fault. the biggest disappointment about him is that he can't take the pressure of being EXPECTED to perform. he only emerged this season AFTER Gasol came to town, making Odom the 3rd option. when Bynum gets back, Odom will be the 4th option. i can't see Uncle Phil holding on to a #4 option who gets payed like a #1 option.

Hope not, well I don't care if he gets traded, I can watch him play either way. Odom is a rare player to find, a 6"10 frame with great ball handling skills, speed, lateral quickness, and most importantly, plays like a point guard at times. Odom has the potential of becoming a superstar but he hates being the number one option and having to carry the team, the main reason he'll never be a great superstar. I'm still expected him to perform better in the finals...

  • I still want Marion on the Lakers...

Odom was doing good in the reg season but in the playoffs, he hasn't used the ability we know he has.

Marion brings more points, CONSISTENCY, plays big in the postseason, and has better defense then Odom...

Odom is good, but he could have been a greater player...

Unless a team looking to take on Odom's expiring contract, while dumping long term salary approaches the Lakers, a trade isn't likely. LA won't just ship him out as "punishment" for a poor series. Now once next season starts, anything's possible.

if Odom continues to play poorly AND the Lakers lose the series then he'll probably be gone... but if the Lakers win i doubt there'll be any major roster changes next year other than the addition of a healthy Bynum which makes us a DYNASTY for sure

not necesarily he is not paying too much and eventhough he is sucking in the finals there are still a few games remaining and he has also played well overall during the playoffs so it is not a problem at all.
