First of all I will agree with you, people need to shut up. Gas wasn't going to be the price it was forever. And people wanted these big azz SUVs and gas guzzling Tanks on the street. But anyways, things change and you have to suck it up and make adjustments.

HOWEVER, the government has a piece in this by not drilling. Also, this is a global thing however around the world they were smart enough to produce gas efficient cars. This is what we get for being complacent dummies!

If people shut up about gas prices, then politicians would jack up the prices higher than anyone not playing professional sports could afford. At least by complaining there's hope and complainers find something in common.

seriously! no i don't think they do. just like the election coming up. they will NEVER shut up about that. they make it sound like it's news but it really isn't. oh yea obama and hilary had a little spaz over something. who cares?

i mean yea gas prices are through the roof. who doesn't knwo that. even my 3 year old kid that i baby sit for knows that gas prices are really high. i just don't care anymore.

If we don't gripe about it as a country then we don't get our point across...I for one am not the type of person that wants to just let my countries leaders do as they please with out reprocussions....that would be giving in and giving up.....Griping is all most of us have to fight back with....So if you don't like the whining turn off your T.V. don't go out of your house for any reason what so ever so that you don't have to hear the average person complain./....OK?

People (like me) will shut up about it when the PRICE of gas goes DOWN.. You do have a point though, nothing can be done about ... But, still yet, it's very frustrating when you go to work just to have your whole pay check go to gas just so you can GO back to work..

Probably not until the government stops taxing the **** out of oil.

Oil companies recieve about %1 of their total profits. The rest of it is givern to the government. New York city alone recieves over 60% of The US oil profits.

youve just reached enlightment. i agree with you! america needs to realize we survived perfectly fine without oil around 100 years ago! we have oil reserves in alaska thatll last us good for the next 60 years, and fricken bush doesnt want to touch it! who knows where well b in 10 even 5 years from now! were evolving so rapidly in this era that one minute we have crappy computers to computers that pops up a window before you can blink. america takes oil for granted and were blaming middle east and bush, the arabs arent stupid like we think, if they were theyll b selling the gas for 50 cents a gallon that they in their countries that hardly even use it! they know that todays world revolves so much around oil.

I doubt it. We can't do anything to change it no matter what we say or do so why keep going on about it? People have nothing else exciting going on in their lives so they don't know anything else to talk about.
