Sims question!?
Okay I've been sneaking around the EA forums lately and there has been talk about this securom thing. Will it affect me if I buy Apartment life. I need to know this before buying it because I have a lot of valuable stuff on my computer such as my music collection,my childhood picuters, my writings, my school assignments, and my parents do all there banking. Will this affect me in any way or is it nothing to worry about.
I use Windows
I don't own H&M but I do own seasons so do I already have it?

It can be a little difficult to seperate fact from fiction when it comes to securom.
When it was first mentioned a lot of people jumped on the bandwagon and blamed securom for everything bad that happened to their computer.
Yes, Apartment Life will most likely have Securom on it.
From what I can remember, Securom can mess with your firewalls. It can disable drivers. I've read it can affect cd/dvd rom drivers and even things like printer drivers (not sure if the printer one is true though).
If you own, I believe, H&M and up, you already have Securom on your computer.

There's nothing to worry about. It's just copyright protection for the CD, it won't hurt your computer at all.
