Can I sue man that stole my Ebay idea?
In October 2006 I posted an ad on ebay selling advertising space at my funeral, as well as certain spiritual/soul guarantees for after my death. 3 months later a man took the idea and posted that he was selling his soul on ebay. I never copyrighted the idea but do I have any legal recourse.
His name is Hemant Mehta and needless to say with my idea he went on to book deals, financial benefits, etc and I got nothing out of the deal and he released book: "I Sold My Soul On EBay"..

I bet you could sue, I just don't know how much of case you have or what you could prove.
You could try, but I don't see much of a case.

Well you cant put a patent on something that isn't physical, so no you cant sue him. Why not sell something else on Ebay, like your eternal love or something, desperate chicks will eat it up.

Considering I thought of the idea of Ebay about 20 years ago....
But for your case.....you have none. Sorry.
