Can i upgrade Compaq Presario 061 to do basic High Def video editing? System info below:

2GB RAM

2AMD 1803 cpus

existing: NVDIA GeForce 6150 LE video card

I'd like to upgrade one of my computers for editing HD video. It's an: HP Pavilion, KN231AAR S3420f computer with an Athlon 64 X2 dual core processor 5400+. It has an NVDIA GeoForce 6150SE nforce 430 display card already in it. It's an X86 based PC and has 2.79GB of available memory.

I may also want to upgrade the soundcard for audio editing. Any suggestions?

I've theorized for years that the removal of oil (and diamonds, etc) from the Earth, leads to plates crashing down on each other; thereby leading to some earthquakes, and other disasters. I have MyVu goggles that I'd like to setup to watch TV. Problem is that it's the SANSA version and I need an adapter so I can convert the MyVu to go to an RCA cable. In other words, the end of the MyVu is meant to go directly into a SANSA VIEW Video player; I need the end of the MYVU glasses to go into the RCA of a TV. Seems like there should be an adapter (gender bender) to connect to the end of my MyVu so I could then plug in one of the cables I have and go into my TV. Thanks in advance. NOTE: I've searched Google, Amazon, Ebay, etc, no luck so far.

I click on the speak icon that opens Volume Control but many options are missing.

Only Speaker, Wave, SW Synth and CD Player are there. Then when I click Options, Properties, the options are virtually blank (probably due to the missing items above).

My wife and I have a small online business. Both our website and other unrelated sites sell a few of our products. Problem: We are not sure how we are affected by online taxes and any tax obligations. Do we have to charge customers taxes? Is it cheaper to use one of our foreign businesses to do sales, in an effort to keep costs down for our customers.

If we have to charge taxes, it makes it virtually impossible to compete with the larger billion dollar companies that can undercut us because of their size and ability to undercut us. How can our leaders expect small businesses to grow if we are held to higher standards than billion dollar entities. It would make sense for an income based tax so that firms generating under $100,000 would be charged a significantly lower tax than firms generating $100,000,000, etc.)

We use flash to output our website. Yet search engine optimization is an issue.

We're thinking of creating websites that use HTML for the top section (Text in HTML codes so that search engines identify the site) but putting the rest of the site in FLASH at the bottom. Or is there a better way that doesn't require a Flash master?

When people talk economy they always talk how much money retailers made/lost, or how the financial sector is doing, or how much home sales has declines, etc. Can't "how many parents are not happy with schools" or "how many homeless persons are infected with AIDS" factor into these discussions or formulas?

At present it just seems that everything is built on money and those that it, while the majority of Americans/Global residents are just pawns and collateral damage. We're good enough to take money and votes from but not good enought to get QUALITY CARE, and the REFLECTION of our leaders!!! Maybe capitalism is not the best system, if we want less people in jail, less racism, less violence, less greed, left corporate ceilings and theft, less ENRONS, less wars, less political blunders and lies. Maybe we need to look at changing our financial system if we want a better COUNTRY and WORLD. All we are saying, is give peace a chance. Lennon
