minnesota no insurance accident?
ok heres the story...my aunt was driving without insurance and got rear ended and her car got messed up,what rights does she have being uninsured, and can she go after the other insurance company? this isnt a normal question so any help is greatly appreciated

if she was rear ended the other persons insurance needs to pay the claim as the other person is at fault. shouldn't matter if your aunt was uninsured. she needs to contact the other persons company and see if they reported the claim. were the police called? i hope she has a report showing what happened

There is no law, I am aware of, in any state that says in order to have your car repaired by anothers auto insurance that you also must have insurance. Your Aunt may receive a ticket for not having insurance but that alone won't negate getting her car repaired. Tell her to buy some insurance !
