I chose mine because I am a ridiculously smart person and had dated average guys so I could get away with stuff!! When I met the man I am now married to I realized right away that this man was as intelligent as I am (if not more so). To have someone with whom I did not have to "dumb down" my speech was a huge blessing for me!! Then all of the usual reasons.....he is hot, clean, sexy, funny, quiet, gentle, and has a killer smile! Now we have a one year old son (who is smarter than either of us) and I know I made the right choice because he is the best daddy in the world!!

P.S. I still believe all of this after 10 years of marriage!!

Besides all the standard answers, he makes me feel safe & secure and he respects what I feel and think. What sealed it was when I looked into his eyes for the first time the only thing I saw was love (nothing but was like his eyes were sparkiling and noone else exsisited but us)
