If I remember correctly Barak was still considering this. I heard this for about a week then it fizzled.

    If he visits Iraq he may be too tempted to DEFECT over to into Iran and continue the associations he is most comfortable with!

    I'm sure he will, you won't hear of it until he is back...but what the McCain camp expects to happen, won't happen.

    Humanitarian crisis in Iraq?..Really...you mean darfur right?-or maybe south africa, I think irelands problems have been more or less resolve but perhaps that is what you are thinking of...or could it be tibet...I know its Louisiana your thinking of right??

    Why, so he can get a nice phony guided tour. If the Iraqis love us so much for democratizing them, why can't western reporters and politicians go there without a military escort?

    Probably sometime this Summer. I think it's interesting that you call him Barry, his name is Barack. Either way I think it was a tactic that McCain was trying to use to throw people off at how little he knows about the economy.
