How can we get from Schoenfeld to Jugendherberge am Wannsee using public transport?

We will be arriving on Monday evening at the airport, and we need to get to "Jugendherberge Berlin - Am Wannsee". The address is:

Badeweg 1

14129 Berlin - Zehlendorf

We will be using public transport to get there (please don't suggest a taxi!). We don't mind if it's not a direct route, i.e. if we have to go into Berlin to get a bus to the Jugendherberge. However, we'd really like to know the route number and where to catch it.

Thank you!

You can use this site to plan routes on public transportation in and around Berlin. Use Flughafen Berlin-Schönefeld Bhf for the airport - there's a train station there for the S-Bahn. http://www.bvg.de/index.php/en/Bvg/Start

According to the Youth Hostel Berlin - Am Wannsee website, you want the Nicolassee S-Bahn stop which is an eight minute walk from the hostel. http://www.djh-berlin-brandenburg.de/index.php/djh...

    hello!

at first, here is the link to the schedule of the S-bahn in berlin.

    http://www.s-bahn-berlin.de/pdf/s-bahn_netz.pdf

    I suggest:

    1) Flughafen Berlin-Schönefeld (Airport)

    direction: WESTEND (S-BAHN 45)

    CHANGE AT: Schöneberg

    2)Schöneberg

    direction: WANNSEE (S-BAHN 1)

    GET OUT AT: Nikolassee

3)from the station nikolassee take the exit : "strandbad wannsee" walk over the bridge and go on to "kronprinzessinenweg (street)

then turn left and after 200 metres you reach Badeweg (street)

ALTERNATIVE: if you want to enjoy a nice trip through the city by train with great view, (takes a bit longer but train is going more frequently especially in the evening / night), you can take the S9 from schönefeld airport direction Spandau and change at friedrichsstraße to the S1 to wannsee.

    hope it helps
