is it true that no parent wants to see their child cry?
also, how do you feel when you're in an argument with your teenager ... i don't understand why my parents can't just let me be.

No we don't want to see our kids cry for any reason.
It is our job as the parent to try and steer you in the right direction, keep you safe and teach you how to be a good person and behave properly.
I would be worried if "they let you be" that would indicate to me that they did not love you.
I know as a teenager it is difficult for you to see that they are doing what they believe is best for you. You think you have everything figured out at you age but since you are still developing (including your brain) you may not always see every side of every issue and the dangers involved. As your parents it is their responsibility to see these things and sometimes it may seem harsh to you, like they are picking on you or being mean, but they are loving you.

Well, I am a parent of 2 teenagers...and no, I don't WANT to see my children cry, but I also understand that it is sometimes a necessary part of growing up and learning about the world. One of my kids literally only seems to learn things "the hard way."
As for how I feel when there is an arugument with my kids, well, to be honest, usually they are the one arguing and I am standing my ground. I guess my feeling would be frustration. Frustration that they can't see "down the line" far enough that I only have their best interest at heart and don't recognize that I am not saying no to be mean, but rather to help them stay safe in an unsafe world. Often times, teens cannot see the consequences of their decisions well enough. There was a wonderful Time magazine article many years ago about brain development in teens. One of the things that it addressed was the apparent "reckless" behavior of teens. It wasn't so much that teens were trying to be reckless, but rather the teen brain is not highly enough developed to "get it." Through cat scans, MRIs etc, they could literally follow the brain development of teens and found that brain development was not complete until age 25....although most 15 - 21 year olds were convinced otherwise. =-)

If a child is just let be. It is a cause of SIDs - Sudden Infant Deaths. Now that you are nearing maturity physically it is still a cause of SIDS - only now you are not considered an infant. No normal parent enjoys seeing their child cry. Buy I would rather they cry than die. Many times a child will cry and fuss for things not best for them. If the parents just lets be - that parent just doesn't care enough for their own children to love them.

i don't think of there is something incorrect with relationship. i'm hoping they make sturdy alternatives, yet i've got faith on the highschool age, they're sufficiently previous as much as now. yet communicate with my daughters lots, to make effective each thing is going properly. i'm effective some toddlers could sneak at the back of their mothers and fathers decrease back and that i don't think of that's good, yet whilst they're doing it to dangle out with their boyfriend or lady chum, it' exceptionally much like it is organic. mothers and fathers are diverse. I have confidence my daughters lots and that i've got raised them properly, so I enable them to be adults whilst they decide to be.

Parents don't want to see their children cry. It's just that they want the very best for their kids and won't accept anything less than the best for them. That's why your parent's don't "let you be."

i think some parents like to be able to comfort there children when they do cry. i'm almost 15 and bawl my eyes out when i'm sick or when something bad happens in a relationship and my mom is always there to stay up late with me.

I doubt they wanna see you cry. My parents get more upset when i cry. Whenever we argue my mom ends up crying. Even if its about expensive ceral!
