  • how do I stop rolling my eyes?

My boyfriend says I roll my eyes frequently when he is talking and that it is disrespectful. I am not aware that I am doing it and I certainly do not intend to disrespect him. How can I make myself stop if I am not aware that I am doing it?

I want to put a motion sensor light outside but not have the foyer light on all the time. Is there a way to seperate the foyer light from the outside light so they are not controled by the same switch?

  • I started dating a man who had a dog that I turned out to be VERY allergic to...?

the relationship has progressed to a point where he asked me to live with him. I told him no at first because of my allergy. I spoke to my doctor about different medications that might help but he advised strongly against it because of the sever reaction I had. Now my BF has found a new home for his dog so we can move in together. He also said that since he works long hours it is better for the dog to be with the family he found because the dog wont be alone so much. My concern is that over time he might resent me because of this. Am I over thinking the situation or being realistic?

  • My employer changed my job requirements.....?

I have been working at the same job for the last 7 years. I have always had excellent reviews, met and exceeded all goals set before me. I have never called out sick or even been late. Recently my boss came to me and told me that my hours will need to change drastically. I currently work 8am until 4:30, which was a condition of my employment between me and a former manager since I am a single mother. My new manager is telling me the company will now require me to work 1:30pm to 10pm. This is impossible for me because I can't find child care for those hours. I have been searching non stop for a different job but have been unable to find anything. If I don't work the new hours I will be fired. Do I have any legal recourse?

  • How do you.............forget?

How do you get over someone? How do you forget?

I'm 39 and was married for 15 yrs. The marriage ended (we stayed friends) and I was fine. 2yrs later I met someone and we dated for a yr. Everything seemed perfect then one day out of the blue he tells me he needs a "break" can't tell me why just said he had issues to deal with. That was Jan 25th. I think about him every day. I miss him terribly and just can't seem to get past it. I have never felf that much love for one person. He was definatly my dream man. Kind, honest, caring.

How do you get past that?

I have tried everything, keeping myself busy and so on. But he is the first thing I think about when I wake up and the last thing on my mind before I drift off at night.

    What should I do?

  • The importance of preschool?

My daughter just turned 4. She is very intellegant.

She knows her ABC's and can state what words start with what letters if asked such as what letter does _____ start with or What word starts with __.

She counts and does simple addition and subtraction problems.

She can write most of her letters, knows her address and phone number and has a vocabulary of someone much older.

The problem is she does not do well around large groups of children, actually more then 3. She is very comfortable around adults and interacts very well with them but she gets upset around other children if they are loud or rowdy.

Should I put her in preschool? I don't think she will learn much there but I was wondering about socialization.

She is currently in an in home day care setting.

    Any thoughts?

  • On a Break?????

I have been seeing this man for about a year when he told me he needed a break, he said specifically that he was not breaking up with me but needed time to "get his head together".

It has been a month since then and there has been very little contact (all contact was initiated by me)

I'm so confused. I have never been on a "break" before; I'm too old for this.

What does it mean? Is the relationship over? Is he just not able to tell me? Should I try and contact him and push for an answer or should I just walk away?

I love this man deeply and was happier over the last year than I have ever been in my life.

    I need advise

  • Breastfeeding vs bottle why the battle?

I see this all the time women who bottle feed refering to bf moms as "nazi" if they suggest breast feeding is best. It blows my mind!

I would never bash another woman for doing what was best for her child. I understand that some women choose not to bf or find it too difficult. I understand that some women are "uncomfortable" with bf and very few are just physically unable.

But since our bodies were designed to feed our children this way and even formula companies will tell you that formula can NOT provide the benefits of bf why is it that women who choose not to feel like they have the right to attack women who choose bf?

Bf, although best for baby, is a difficult undertaking and women who choose this need support and guidance. It is not something that every women instictivly knows how to do. Some take the led right out of the gate but others need help. With latch, supply, and many other things. If you are determinded to bf keep looking for answers and seek help if needed
