Santogold.....?

SO... i've read about this Santogold girl in Spin and on amazon.com and she seems pretty alright. I tend to gravitate towards bands like The Cure, The Pixies, Deftones, Death Cab for Cutie, Stone Temple Pilots, Pretty Girls Make Graves, etc. etc. etc. I'm pretty eclectic. Anyone with these tastes heard of her? What do you think?

    i love death cab, especially crooked teeth and sarahs song. i also have santogolds album and i have to say i like it, its harder than the other bands that youve listed and not as deep, but as you seem to be like me with music, id say.....there is a time and a place for every kind of music, and id put santogold with the 'getting ready for a night out' collection!

    glad to see some people can still have a variety of tastes and not be blindfolded be a genre

    i love just about every band you described. my bestfriends girlfriend sent me some santogold on aim the other day and i have to say it takes some getting used to but after a while she's not that bad.

    I saw the video to "L.E.S. Artistes", and I thought that determined her awesomeness.
