Its been bugging me forever, because Greg's on drums, Noah's on one guitar, Rodrigo's on the other, and I dont know the friggin bass players name!

so i thought that maybe, by this point in my life, i might be involved in a steady relationship. of course, i live in a small town, so the only place i can really go to for that is this ugly place we call the internet; where men only really care about hookups and everyone happens to be a 10 and i'm a 6... on a good night.

why is it that no one seems to care about love? and how do i present myself in a way that someone cant help but respond to?

I haven't heard any of their stuff since 2000's A Melody of Certain Damaged Lemons... Apparently they've put out 2 albums since then, from what I've seen. If anyone's heard 23 or Misery is a Butterfly, please explain them to me... I don't want to dive right into buying them, but I hope they're as great as they were in 2000.

Gus Van Sant is a visionary and has MANY important films under his belt and DESERVES a WIN, not just a nomination.

Am I really the only Killers fan that thought Day and Age SUCKED BIG TIME? I drove 30 miles to buy it, and threw it out on the way home. They should have quit with Sawdust. Sam's Town is the best of theirs, though. So weird.

I live in the US and there's a show on BBC 3 (i think.. it might be 2) called Being Human. Now, as I don't have BBC3 in po-dunk middle america Kansas.. is there a place online I can watch the episodes? I have to listen to people RAVE about the show, and desperately would like to watch these new episodes...

I was noticing that most of my favorite musicians/songwriters/singers are dead (i.e. Ian Curtis from Joy Division, John Lennon, Janis Joplin, Kurt Cobain, etc. etc. etc.). What are your favorite late songwriters/musicians/singers?

I just moved back to my hometown (ohhhh, about 1800 people, and now a one-homo town..) from my three-homo town and now i have absolutely no one to relate to, not that I could with the others in the last town, anyways. Im not good with networking on justguys or gay.com (gay.com cuz i cant pay for it, at least) and its really starting to get to me. Are there any other networks for shy, awkward gay men and not a whole bunch of 10s looking for an 11?

Does anyone actually remember about 7 years ago when "emo" was an interesting type of music (dashboard, taking back sunday, thrice, story of the year, etc. etc. etc.) and not some stupid high-school teenybopper trend infested by Hot Topic punk-wannabes?

Resemble so much the music of Joy Division, Depeche Mode, The Cure, The Smiths, etc. etc. etc. How come no one wants to give credit nor listen to these bands when elders bring up how much they sound alike? AAAAAND how come no one knows who The Pixies are anymore?

SO... i've read about this Santogold girl in Spin and on amazon.com and she seems pretty alright. I tend to gravitate towards bands like The Cure, The Pixies, Deftones, Death Cab for Cutie, Stone Temple Pilots, Pretty Girls Make Graves, etc. etc. etc. I'm pretty eclectic. Anyone with these tastes heard of her? What do you think?
