the eternal search for what love is....?

so i thought that maybe, by this point in my life, i might be involved in a steady relationship. of course, i live in a small town, so the only place i can really go to for that is this ugly place we call the internet; where men only really care about hookups and everyone happens to be a 10 and i'm a 6... on a good night.

why is it that no one seems to care about love? and how do i present myself in a way that someone cant help but respond to?

First question, Love is an emotional, phermonal, connection to another being. Generally a human, but is also possible with domestic animals .

So you live in a small town where everyone knows everyone elses business. I know how this "grapevine " works . I absolutely cannot stand online dating. I need human body language to make my decisions regarding dating. I think this is why so many of these hook up sites exist because the success rate of these relationships is very minimul at best. You need some type of social atmosphere to find someone so that you see them in different circumstances before you date them. I volunteer in a food pantry and this works great for me. Just try to find a place that you can volunteer and meet people that you can date. Preferably in another town away from the gossip of where you live.

You have to be patient, there are people who love other people in the world and as they say there are plenty of fish in the sea :), you just have to look for that person, and you can only attract people by being who you are, otherwise they r not really attracted to u only to who u are trying to be, so go ahead and look for that love, it is defenetly out there somewhere.
