Another stupid emo question.?
Does anyone actually remember about 7 years ago when "emo" was an interesting type of music (dashboard, taking back sunday, thrice, story of the year, etc. etc. etc.) and not some stupid high-school teenybopper trend infested by Hot Topic punk-wannabes?
feel free to discuss the bands involved in that day (pre my chemical romance)... or maybe even go so far as to cite pioneers (going back to fugazi, jawbreaker and sunny day real estate) and discuss bands with similar styles or intents.

Yes, I actually do. I even went so far as to like some of TBS stuff. Nowadays every band get labeled "emo" even bands that are obviously not emo, it's sickening.

The "bands from 7 years ago" aren't emo. They are just capitalizing on that term. The "older" emo bands are the only real ones. Real emo is dead.

EMO is just a stupid rip off of gothic, except little emo kids are too scared to slit their rists... emos need to grow up and realise the world can be a good place. they are pathetic bored little kids
